Led by our members, our organization has defied the odds and achieved real gains for workers including groundbreaking policies requiring paid sick days for all employees in the cities of Austin and San Antonio, paid rest breaks for construction workers in Dallas and Austin, and fair wages and safe working conditions for more than 30,000 construction workers through WDP’s innovative Better Builder® program.
